THE APOSTLE PAUL TELLS US WHAT THE GOSPEL IS
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - "Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
JESUS SAVES!!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace
1 Timothy 2:5-6 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time
Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved
TODAY IS THE DAY OF SALVATION
IF I DIE TODAY WILL I GO TO HEAVEN? WHY WOULD ANYONE PUT OFF THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION THEY COULD EVER MAKE IN THEIR LIVES, CONCERNING ETERNAL LIFE?
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith —and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
ADMIT THAT YOU'RE A SINNER
THIS IS WHERE THAT GODLY SORROW LEADS TO GENUINE REPENTANCE FOR SINNING AGAINST A RIGHTEOUS GOD AND THERE IS A CHANGE OF HEART, WE CHANGE OUR MIND AND GOD CHANGES OUR HEARTS AND REGENERATES US FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
Romans 3:10 - "There is none righteous, no, not one."
Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD
THIS IS TRUSTING WITH ALL OF YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST IS WHO HE SAID HE WAS.
Romans 10:9-10 - that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD.
THIS IS A PERSONAL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOU AND THE LORD. NO ONE ELSE CAN HAVE THIS CONVERSATION FOR YOU. IF YOU CALL UPON NAME OF THE LORD FOR SALVATION, IN BELIEF, YOU WILL BE SAVED!
Romans 10:13 - For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
